Einstein@home Einstein@home is a program that uses your computer's idle time to search for spinning neutron stars (also called pulsars) using data from the LIGO and GEO gravitational wave detectors. Einstein@home plan to deploy a production version of Einstein@home as part of the American Physical Society's World Year of Physics 2005 activities.
BOINC BOINC is a software platform for distributed computing using volunteer computer resources, and provides the framework for SETI@home and other projects. It is based at the Space Sciences Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley.
