Climateprediction.net is the largest experiment to try and produce a forecast of the climate in the 21st century. Climateprediction.net is a joint project between Oxford University, The Met Office, The Open Univertify, The CCLRC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Tessella Support Services plc, and others.
BOINC BOINC is a software platform for distributed computing using volunteer computer resources, and provides the framework for SETI@home and other projects. It is based at the Space Sciences Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley.
